• About how long does the publishing process take, from submission to publication?
• The publishing process can vary.  Depending on the amount of editing / formatting the book needs.  If you're looking for a specific release date, we can make sure to get it done as close to that date as possible.
• Do I need a pen name, or is it cool if I publish under my real name?
• You can either use a pen name or your real name.  We do ask you we have your real name so we can send you any payments or official documents.
• Would you accept the first book in a series? 
• Yes.
• Do you accept screenplays?
• Currently no.  If you want to submit a screenplay for us to review to see if it would be something we could publish as a novel, you are more than welcome to submit it to us.
• Do you make contracts for multiple books In a series?
• We're not trying to lock anyone into a long term contract.  We can certainly work something out though where it would benefit the author to publish more books in a series through Trainwreck Books.
•  On your website, you talked about being able to design covers for books you are publishing. Does that come at an extra fee?
• Currently no.
• Is there a minimum/maximum word count for submissions?
• The minimum/maximum word count will vary dependent on what type of manuscript you wish to submit.
• Are submissions including illustrations accepted?
• Illustrations can be submitted with the submissions.
• Is any marketing of the book done on the writers behalf, of is it the responsibility of the author to do all marketing tasks?
• Advertising will be done on all the social medical platforms we will administer.  This is a partnership and we're going to expect some help from you.  The plan is to call local TV stations and see about getting on their morning new shows to help promote the book.  There is also book store book signings.
• Is an LCCN (Library of Congress Control Number) assignment paid for along with publication?
• LCCN is only $25.00 right now.  If the author would like their work assigned an LCCN, it can be arranged at their cost.  Trainwreck Books will not profit from the submission fee..
• Do authors get an advance on the publication of their work?
• Currently no.  Payment to authors is made monthly after their book starts selling.  Payment will be determined on the number of copies sold and the split between the author and Trainwreck Books.
